Description


We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing, a solid understanding of software quality processes, and hands-on exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and basic automation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, improving test efficiency, and supporting our transition toward intelligent and automated QA practices.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.  
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile applications.  
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.  
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).  
  • Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of defects.  
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.  
  • Validate APIs using tools like Postman or similar platforms.  
  • Contribute to test documentation and continuous improvement of QA processes.  
  • Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, test case generators) to enhance test coverage and testing productivity.  
  • Assist in generating test cases, test data, and edge-case scenarios using AI tools.  
  • Work with automation engineers or independently create basic automation s using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.  
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual test cases.  
  • Contribute to building a hybrid QA approach combining manual, AI-assisted, and automation testing. 

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in manual software testing.  
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.  
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.  
  • Solid knowledge of test case design techniques such as boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning.  
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).  
  • Basic understanding of databases with the ability to write simple SQL queries.  
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.  
  • Exposure to AI tools for improving productivity and QA workflows.  
  • Basic knowledge of at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.  
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with performance or security testing.  
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.  
  • Experience working with eCommerce platforms, CMS (e.g., WordPress), or SaaS-based applications.  
  • Understanding of headless CMS architectures or modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js.  
  • Prior experience integrating AI tools into QA workflows.
